Little Feet Going Big Time

These are the adorable feet of our littlest, newest addition to the greater Dinkins family - Jude Twilley - in my newest creation duckie booties. They are a pain to make, but so worth it when you take just one look at these pictures...

Very grateful to Jude for modeling them, since his Momma's blog got linked on a big-time blog Cup of Jo because of his adorable-ness.

Laura's had 4000 hits so far and I'm in a hurry to get the listing in my etsy shop.

Wish me luck, maybe Ducks have it. otherwise I just feel tres chic because Joanna of Cup of Jo picked us

Gus & Daddy

These are a bit behind date, but the first picture is my new favorite of Gus, it captures his essence; unconcerned of others' opinions, equally enthralled by the big picture as delighted by the detail, fearless, brawny, unconcerned with comfort or absence thereof, easily amused, devoid of malice and keen for adventure.

The second and third picture show him with his role model, for which all of the above are true, just as well.

I love them both.

Critter Care

Gus loves spending time on his Pap & Granna's farm and we spent almost every morning making the rounds on the mini-four-wheeler to feed and cuddle the livestock in the neighborhood. Among his favorites: The Pike Chickens, Baxter the friendly cat and, of course, ever loyal Ollie, who kept a watchful eye on Gus as he roamed up and down the little country lane.

What a life. Gus loves the openess and being free.

Christmas break

We had a wonderful, peaceful and fun holiday celebrating the birth of Jesus with many, many presents, good food and lots of board games with the family.

Gus was happy after the first present and it took him almost clear into the New Year to open his last. He loves them all very much though and is very grateful for these tokens of love and care.

Happy New Year!
