It's (almost) official!
We are in the process of buying a lovely home in the leafy bed-and-breakfast neighborhood of Brevard. Harking back to the last century, 1,400 sf. large and complete with a shed, a generous backyard and a wrap around porch, it exhudes old-time Southern charm to me.
It also comes without keys, you couldn't catch a marble on its uneven floors and several of the stately windows look like they haven't been opened since the Great Depression...oh and we'll have to make due without a washer/dryer for a while...
...but if it all works out we would have a very comfortable place to house our little family, including a wonderfully spaceious nursery for The Bean.
Wish us luck or pray for us, we're trying to close on it by end of June/mid-July.
